Marco has expanded its product range with the launch of Elite, a new three option line, marking the next generation in uPVC cable management systems.

Building further on the success of its Apollo and Juno uPVC trunking systems, this new range, finished in a pure white, high gloss sheen, has been designed for use in power and high density structured cabling systems including CAT5E, CAT6, CAT7 and the new CAT6A 10 gig solution.

Available in three sizes (Elite 3, Elite Compact and Elite 60, this durable system holds aesthetic and practical appeal for a broad range of installations.

The Elite range covers a variety of customer requirements, with each size complimenting each other.

At 145mm x 50mm, the symmetrical curve design of the Elite Compact allows for a large number of data cables to be housed in installations where space is restricted.

At 175mm x 60mm, the curved design of the larger Elite 3 allows for the installation of power and high density structured cabling systems including CAT5E, CAT6, Shielded, CAT7 and the new CAT6A 10 gig solution.

To allow for a quick and simple installation, both the Compact and Elite base and internal walls are pre-punched, and a hinged lid has been incorporated into the design to allow for cables to be fed into position with ease, eliminating the need for drilling or cable retainers.

Both trunking systems are available with a full range of fittings and accessories, including the newly designed two-piece adjustable bends to accommodate installations where 90 degree corners are unobtainable. The internal and external angles also maintain the necessary bend radius to comply with British, European and international standards. In addition, the moulded flat angle and flat tees incorporate data guides. The Elite Compact and Elite 3 have also been designed to accommodate the new open socket mounting frames utilising the full 50mm depth and allowing for the use of deeper RJ45 modules.

An optional pre-punched steel screen divider is available which spans the width of the trunking meeting the requirements for power and data separation. Both systems meet and exceed the requirements for  (BS6701), ISO/IEC11801 (ED2.0 Amd 2) and Cenelec (BSEN50173 Part 1 / 2, BSEN50174-2) standards.

The largest of Marco's Elite range at 200mm x 63mm, Elite 60 has been designed to cope with installations that require the greatest amounts of high density structured cabling systems such as CAT6, CAT7 and the new CAT6A 10 gig solutions.

A 50mm minimum bend radius is provided for all Marco Elite 60 data fittings including flat angles, tees, internal and external angles. All cables can be laid into place avoiding the need to thread cables through apertures, thus ensuring that all of the Marco fittings are easy to install and to wire.

Sharing many of the features of its smaller siblings, the Elite 60 completes the Elite line-up.

The high-impact resistant and quality virgin uPVC used across the entire Elite range ensures a sturdy and  robust finish, whilst retaining a high gloss, aesthetic appeal. The Elite range is also available with anti-microbial protection against bacteria and with coloured lids or plates to comply with the changing building regulations, as a result of the Disability Discrimination Act (2005).
