New fire safety engineering publication released

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (Cibse) has published a fully updated version of Guide E: Fire safety engineering, including new chapters on performance based design principles, and application of risk assessment.

Now in its third edition, Cibse Guide E has been fully updated to take into account new knowledge and latest techniques. Written by experienced fire engineers, it is intended to give useful, practical advice on fire safety engineering.

This new edition has also been updated throughout to include BS9999 and other recent developments.
