The VFI33 series UPS from Power Inspired is said to be the ideal power protection choice for data centres, telecom and medical applications – in fact anywhere where high efficiency, small footprint, low power distortion and the highest levels of power protection are required.
Available from 30-120KVA and Incorporating the latest IGBT input rectifier control, the units have an input power factor that is practically unity and with less than 3% input current distortion they meet the most stringent of requirements as well as being fully 1:1 genset compatible.
Installation is simple, with only front access required for maintenance and service. No clearance is required at the left, right or rear of the unit and with the high frequency inverter design requiring no transformer, the system has one of the smallest footprints in its class. Coupled with top and bottom cable entry it doesn't need a raised floor or add-on cabinets for installation
Mean time to repair is quick, thanks to the front access and specialised modularised design all components can be changed in a matter of minutes. Not that this will need to be done often, as this proven design has outstanding MTBF figures of over 200,000 hours, giving this UPS five nines reliability performance, which can be enhanced by connecting systems in a parallel redundant configuration.
The VF133 is packed full of features including the intuitive easy to read LCD display, unique balancing circuit to improve UPS longevity and output performance, outstanding overload handling capability, ECO mode to obtain efficiencies of 99%, full communication options including SNMP, and superior battery management.
