After launching its new Dimension dealer accreditation and training framework earlier this year, Philips Dynalite has welcomed its first UK member of the group, Lancashire and Oxfordshire-based Morban.

A specialist residential systems integrator, Morban has been working closely with Philips Dynalite for three years to deliver home automation solutions that combine lighting, security, AV, environmental, and communications/media systems.

According to David Rose, head of marketing at Morban, said: "We identified Philips Dynalite years ago as a company we wanted to work with closely," he said. "They have a tremendous approach to technical excellence, customer service and training, and we want to be working with people who aspire to the same things we do."

The Philips Dynalite Dimension program provides standardised training, improved access to technical support, and marketing support to all accredited companies and individuals-including AV installers, system integrators and electrical contractors. This includes ongoing skills competency testing for nominated sales/project design engineers, programmers and installers.

"For us the accreditation process was fairly straightforward, since we already had a close existing ‘foundation' relationship," Rose said. "When the Dimension program was first discussed, it seemed like a natural progression. We'd already done most of the required training, and were happy to continue developing ever closer and more managed ties within the scope of the program. As a result, our technical relationship hasn't changed in essence-we're simply building on what was already a collaborative success."
