The housing problem solved

Dold's new KU 4100 Series, available from Techna International, is a three-tier, DIN-rail mounted range providing some of the most versatile enclosure configurations available today, to suit the ever increasing needs of designers and engineers to put a pint into a half-pint pot!

With a depth of 70mm and front-face height of 45mm, the range can be built-into Low Voltage Distribution systems and panels alongside standard DIN-rail components such as MCB's, RCBO's and relays.

Available in eight 17.5mm module-width multiples from 17.5mm to 140mm, the range offers more than 20 standard configurations and virtually any customised permutation of terminal types, PCB arrangements and optional features.

The slim 17.5mm modules maximise on component density by accommodating up to two vertical PCB's  (providing significantly larger surface area than several small horizontal PCB's) resulting in the best cost / performance benefits.

The wider enclosures can utilise maximum component density on up to three PCB's (one per tier), mounted horizontally across the entire width of the enclosure, again providing the very best cost / performance potential together with the ability to mount larger or heavier components on the underside of the PCB's, to provide optimum stability.

Optional features include 6 or 8-pole RJ 45 SOCKETS, eib-SOCKETS, Earth contact to the DIN-rail, USB Ports, ventilation slots, holes for LED's and control components (potentiometers etc) apertures for relay access, blanked-off terminals, custom printing and a choice of colours, for volume requirements.

The extensive range of termination choices, accessories, options and sizes has been evolved to provide designers and engineers with the most cost-effective enclosure solutions, in the widest possible choice of configurations, to suit numerous applications, whilst retaining a robust shell with aesthetically appealing appearance.
