According to luminaire recycling specialist Lumicom, the last six months has seen significant growth in the number of organisations taking advantage of its recycling services, in terms of both requesting advice and sending luminaires for recycling.
"Since the WEEE Directive was implemented end users and contractors have been getting to grips with the implications of the legislation and exploring different ways of addressing their obligations," explained Lumicom director Ernest Magog.
