Clymac Fire and Security Systems has secured a major contract to install the complete fire alarm system in a new development in London.

As part of a £1.5bn, ten-year redevelopment and regeneration programme for the Elephant and Castle area of London, a stunning new £117m, 43-storey, 147 metre tower is being built on the site of the old Castle House.

Providing an exciting and dynamic addition to London's skyline, the futuristic new Tower will house 408 high quality apartments, along with a dynamic retail environment at its base. The revolutionary design also includes three nine-metre wind turbines incorporated into the top of the building, which will generate sufficient power to drive the energy efficient lighting system to the buildings common areas.

Clymac has begun work on the project and will face the challenge of designing and installing around 700 input and output fire alarm interfaces which will monitor and control the various systems in this high rise building.
