Easy to install, the PowerX IP66 range has been designed to offer the highest levels of protection against the ingress of water and solid matter to provide safe and efficient electrical connections in even the most arduous conditions. Comprising Single, Twin and RCD Sockets and Junction Boxes, the range is suitable even for wash down areas in industrial environments, as well as a whole host of commercial uses and the home leisure market.
Featuring a spring-loaded catch for easy opening and secure lid retention, the PowerX IP66 socket box can be opened using just one hand. Guided fixing pillars ensure that the front face is easily aligned following installation and an integral earth frame avoids the need for earth tags when installing brass cable glands. PowerX sockets also feature a unique one-piece lid gasket to ensure the highest level of environmental protection, with threaded cable entries on each side featuring integral sealing gaskets. All fixing screws are stainless steel, dual headed and captive.
