New Cooper Bussmann T range of medium voltage fuse-links and fuse-bases comply with IEC and RoHS

Electrical Review Logo

The new Cooper Bussmann T range of medium voltage current limiting fuse-links to the dimensional standard DIN 43625 comply with the latest issue of IEC 60282-1. They are lead and cadmium free , complying with RoHS and WEE directives, and have been designed to meet both current and future electrical utility specifications worldwide. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, the range has been fully tested and certified at the leading independent test laboratories of KEMA. All other required performance requirements, including temperature rise, time current characteristics and weather sealing, have been rigorously tested to the ASTA approvals procedures.

The new design, developed by engineers based at the Cooper Bussmann UK medium voltage development centre, in Leicestershire, England, enables engineers to utilise a 24kV fuse-link on a 12kV system, which benefits utilities maintaining a mixed voltage network. The T range covers all DIN requirements within the ranges from 3.6kV to 36kV and the fuse-links are complimented with a range of 12/24kV medium voltage DIN fuse-bases.

Information, including technical data sheet and outline drawings and our new MV DIN catalogue are available on our website http://www.cooperbussmann.com/ .  The printed version of the catalogue can also be ordered, please email [email protected], quoting reference "MVDIN -2008".
