Balfour Kilpatrick, the multi services and power systems business of Balfour, has been awarded a £10m contract for the supply and installation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing services for the Paradise Project in Liverpool.
The Paradise Project is a large £920m retail-led mixed-use development comprising over 30 individual buildings.
The ultimate client for the regeneration of this 42-acre scheme is Grosvenor, with Balfour Beatty Construction acting as the main contractor. Balfour Kilpatrick is involved in the east side of The Paradise Project, rejuvenating the area around Blue Coat Chambers, the oldest building in Liverpool.
The contract is due to start in August 2007 with a completion date of November 2008, when Liverpool will be the European Capital of Culture.
