The world’s third largest manufacturer of low-voltage electrical products and components CHINT, recently held its 2nd International Marketing Forum in their prestigious corporate headquarters in Wenzhou, China.

The event was hosted by the company’s Chairman Nun Can Hui and was attended by over 200 academics, Chinese officials and business leaders from 47 countries including 6 from the UK. The guests were thanked for their efforts which helped Chint achieve its international business growth targets and announced that the many new and innovative products, due to be launched globally over the next few months, would be a major boost to continuing this upward trend.

Graham Chadwick, Vice President of Chint Europe (UK) Ltd said, “One of the many highlights of the trip was a guided tour of a major test house facility that is jointly owned by both Chint and KEMA. The test house provides product testing to international standards and specifications, not only for Chint, but also for many other internationally recognised brands.

The itinerary continued with the transfer of all the guests to Shanghai, where guests were introduced to Chints massive new transmission and Distribution Division where 2 days were spent inspecting the corporations massive new plant where Power Transformers, Power Insulators, Distribution Transformers and other High Powered Electrical equipment, is being manufactured.

Graham also spoke about the company’s commitment to the ‘green’ aspect and the opportunities offered. “After reviewing the company’s successful expansion program and the introduction of numerous new products, the seminar specifically focused on the challenges of balancing Chints continued economic growth with the imperative of addressing the environmental costs of the company’s rapid development, both in China and globally. A specific example of this, was our introduction to Chints 2nd generation ‘Solar Power’ manufacturing facility, where a new venture, headed by some of the worlds most highly skilled experts, devoted to research and the study of advanced photovoltaic technologies have recently developed technically superior, ultra-efficient ‘solar panels’ that are expected to revolutionise the way that ‘Solar Panels are perceived in the pursuit of energy saving and electrical efficiency.”
