Following reports of a seventh consecutive year of profit growth, luminaire manufacturer Whitecroft Lighting has announced its are to open a new office in Scotland at the end of 2007.

The new office will house specialised application demonstration areas which demonstrate the effects of Whitecroft’s comprehensive range of lighting solutions for offices, healthcare and education.

“With this resource, electrical consultants will have the opportunity not just to evaluate our fittings but also to assess their fit with other components of the design”, explains Mark Scotland, account manager for Scotland. “We feel this is an excellent way of showing customers our specialist capabilities in each sector” he added.

On announcing the new office, divisional managing director Nigel Kilby commented “Having raised our profile in Scotland significantly over the past few years, we are delighted to be opening a new office. The location of the new office enables us to provide much stronger support to our customers. This development contrasts sharply with other leading manufacturers who have chosen, for their own reasons to close down their offices in this country.”
