Spellman Japan relocates to larger facility

New location nearly doubles engineering floor space

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation has announced the relocation of its Japanese operations to a larger facility in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture. This move will enable Spellman to support its growing customer base inJapanand the Asian market.

The relocation represents an increase in floor space of nearly 70%. Spellman’s new 630 squaremeter facility includes 347 square meters dedicated to engineering resources, including eleven (11) high voltage test cages.

Spellman’s Japanese office was established 13 years ago, and has grown to become a major hub of Spellman’s Asian and Pacific Rim activities. Fifteen dedicated employees provide sales, engineering, repair,and logistical services. According to Eric Marko, Vice President of Sales, who is also responsible for the Japanese office, “This move represents Spellman’s commitment to provide world-class support to our Japanese and Asian customers. I am very proud of the team in Japan.They have managed our growth well, and with their new facility, they areready for the challenge of future expansion.”
