New batch of graduate opportunities

A year after taking twelve graduates through a six month development programme, Schneider Electric has recruited seventeen people to take part in this year’s scheme.
Schneider Electric is committed to developing its employees to deliver high standards of customer service and the investment in this year’s programme will prepare the graduates for positions within its sales and marketing activity. The training programme is based at Schneider Electric’s headquarters in Telford and provides a foundation for the graduates’ ongoing career. It combines technical training across Schneider Electric’s portfolio of products, services and solutions with project work, competency and skills development.
Stewart Gregory, director of Schneider Electric Building Systems and Solutions is the programme sponsor. Graduates will report to Anna Pierce, HR advisor and programme co-ordinator before moving into their allocated roles across the UK in June 2007.
Anna Pierce explained: “Due to outstanding retention and consequent return on investment from last year’s programme, it has been decided to expand this exceptional opportunity toeven more of the UK’s most talented graduates. We see this programme as an investment in the company’s future and are providing comprehensive training matched by very few businesses. Schneider Electric has the largest sales force in the industry and this is another means of maximising our competitiveness by recruiting new talent”.
