Metway has introduced a PCB mounted 3 pole connector to complement their Series 166 connectors and complete their lighting control range. The “G” type 3 pole connector can be mounted onto printed circuit boards and provides the OEM with an industry standard, user-friendly interface.
The 3 pole connectors are available in 3 colours and 2 coding options and are rated at 16 amps. They are fully compatible with Metway’s full Series 166 connectors.
They meet the lighting industry standard for installation of luminaires and the addition of this new 3 pole PCB mount, together with 6 pole leads and T modules, means that Metway can now provide a single source for the interface from lighting control equipment.
Complying with the latest European connector standard, BSEN60320, the connectors also have VDE approval. They are manufactured using Nylon 6,6 to UL94 V2 and are capable of continuous operating temperatures of up to 100oC.
Like the complete 166 range, the 3 pole connectors are RoHS compliant, competitively priced and readily available from stock.
The Metway range also contains 4 and 5 pole connectors in male and female options, with panel mount push fit connectors and screw terminal connectors for cable assembly wiring.
