Manrose Window Fans Get a New Look

Electrical Review Logo

The internal louvre of the stylish window fans from Manrose Manufacturing has been redesigned to incorporate the internal shutters, which are built into the grille. This results in a more refined and less obtrusive internal profile, enabling the units to blend seamlessly with the surrounding décor.

Manufactured to withstand heavy usage, the new window fans are suitable for a wide range of applications, from public sector areas as hospitals and schools to commercial applications, including restaurants, hotels, offices and factories. Available with automatic shutters or pullcord operated shutters, the units come in neutral grey or traditional white colour options. On the grey models the external grille is moulded in a darker grey so that it will fade into the background and not be too visible on the window line.

New to the Commercial Range is a Spigot version for wall and ceiling mounting, which provides a unique slimline profile of 66mm on the 150mm (6”)and up to 81mm on the 300mm (12”). These units are suitable for connecting to ducting and, as with their window counterparts, the shutters have been incorporated into the internal louver, protecting the shutters from vandalism.

Extract rates range from 278m3/h (77 litres/sec)) for the 150mm unit, 668m3/h (185 litres/sec) for the 230mm units and 1012m3/h (281 litres/sec) for the larger 300mm unit.

All of the units carry the Manrose two year, no quibble guarantee and are manufactured using high impact ABS thermoplastic for enhanced strength and durability, aesthetics and easy cleaning. ABS can also be recycled.
