Kabelschlepp Metool, the UK’s largest manufacturer of flexible cable handling systems, will be presenting a wide selection of its range of cable carriers and Metool hose and cable reels on stand 106 at ABTT 2005 in the Royal Horticultural Halls from 15 to 16 June.
The stand will highlight the Metool SC range of spring-operated hose and cable reels, that has been widely used by leading consultants and contractors in the entertainment industry, theatre, broadcasting and film for over 20 years. In this time Metool has advanced reel design and developed increasingly compact, capable and sophisticated cables to carry more functions, more and faster signals. Latest introduction is a dedicated range of black cables specially designed to be inconspicuous and to work well with SC reels. Applications include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Miss Saigon, the London Coliseum, Millennium Dome, Royal Opera House and the Bolshoi in Moscow.
Kabelschlepp has just celebrated its fiftieth anniversary as the original inventor of the cable carrier and will be showing a range of plastic models, including Robotrax, the first truly three-axis cable carrier, the lightweight, elastic and virtually indestructible UNIFLEX and Quantum, a one-piece polypropylene extruded carrier, which combines near-silent, vibration-free running with high-speed, long-life operation.
