Floor service outlet boxes, purpose designed by leading cable management systems manufacturer, Armorduct, have been installed in Northampton College’s new, state-of-the-art development in the heart of Northampton town centre.
Working in close cooperation with electrical contractors, The ECG Group and builder, Miller Construction, exceptionally deep (200mm) floor boxes were manufactured to provide power, voice and data services. This new development incorporates a coffee shop, nursery, workshops, library and a computer centre housing all the latest technology.
West Midlands based Armorduct supplied the floor boxes of varying depths to cater for the client’s special requirements – and also solve problems caused by the building’s unusual floor structure.
Armorduct has invested in latest generation manufacturing and design systems in combination with specialist capabilities, which enable them to provide both ‘bespoke’ and ‘standard’ cable management solutions.
