Seminar programme launched by ABB

ABB will be running a series of seminars on the more challenging aspects of electrical engineering. Created and hosted by experts from ABB Low Voltage Products, the seminars take a straightforward approach to unravelling the mysteries of topics such as electrical discrimination and protection. Aimed primarily at M&E engineers, consultants and design contractors, the seminars run for around one hour and cover the main issues associated with various key topics. The following technical seminars are available:

Electrical discrimination – explains everything from what discrimination means through to the types of protection devices to use and how to carry out a proper fault and protection study.

Protection – a look at the variety of protection devices available and where and how to use them. This seminar also covers the design and specification of advanced protection systems, including zone discrimination, programming and diagnostics and metering.

Fuse v. fuseless technology – a guide to the advantages of circuit breakers and fuses for different applications.
