The Advantys STB is the solution for all distributed I/O needs from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric.
Advantys STB is an open system providing greater flexibility in device integration. It provides removable field-wiring connectors to allow pre-wiring of I/O for faster installation and maintenance. Its power distribution system enhances safety, facilitates troubleshooting and permits flexible module locations for easier system expansion.
For critical applications, the product features hot swapping, which means that components can be changed without the need to shut down the system, thus minimising productivity losses. Facilities for local reflex control at I/O level are also provided for applications where control must be as close to the operation as possible, or where limited control must be maintained in the event of a fieldbus failure.
