In-house hospital staff take control

Electrical Review Logo

Static Systems Group has introduced a new version of its BedBinder software to allow hospital engineers to take control of their Codemlon-Call healthcare communications system.
The Windows-based software, which can be loaded on to a laptop computer, allows in-house hospital staff to carry out a range of tasks without the need for manufacturer involvement.
Static Systems claims the software offers potential savings on operating costs. Tasks that can be handled include location label changing, event history monitoring, fault logging, systems testing and time setting adjustments.
Simplified installation and a back-up node that automatically re-programmes replacement boards to reduce downtime are also part of the systems’ facilities.
