Debate at Powered On Live 2024: focus on destination or rapid EV charging?

Rapid vs destination EV charging panel Powered On Live 2024

The UK Government failed to meet its target for the number of rapid chargers available at motorway service stations in January this year, but is it the end of the world? Not according to some experts, who believe that the industry should focus on destination charging

At the upcoming Powered On Live 2024, a panel will debate whether destination charging should take precedence over rapid charging infrastructure.

The panel, moderated by Matthew Adams, Transport Policy Manager at the Renewable Energy Association, includes Nick Bellamy, Co-Founder and CEO of EVC, and Luis Santiago Pinto, Co-Founder and CEO of Powerdot. They will explore the implications of the Government’s shortfall in achieving its rapid charger goals and discuss potential adjustments to current charging strategies.

Powered On Live 2024, now in its fourth year, will host this panel among many other sessions, which you can learn all about over the next two weeks here on Electrical Review as we countdown to June 12, 2024.

For those wishing to register to attend Powered On Live 2024, registrations are open now at the Powered On Live website.
