The finalists for the ECA Edmundson Apprentice of the Year Award 2023 have been revealed, with the winner set to be announced next month.

The three finalists for the ECA Edmundson Apprentice of the Year Award 2023 have been revealed, with the winner set to be announced in September.
The ECA Edmundson Apprentice of the Year Award is always hotly contested, with entrants from around the UK invited to enter. Entries officially opened back in April, and now after a rigorous process in which the independent judging panel had to whittle it down to a final few – we have the shortlist.
Adam Allen of Geoffrey Robinson Ltd; Brandon Crossland of J.A. Richardson (Electrical) Ltd; and Henry Stephens of Darke & Taylor Ltd, have all been announced as finalists for the ECA Edmundson Apprentice of the Year Award 2023.
Carolyn Mason, Head of Education and Training at ECA, commented, “This year’s candidates were all of an extremely high calibre. The independent judging panel undertook a difficult but rigorous process to determine the final shortlist.
“ECA would like to congratulate the three finalists, and indeed all of those who entered this year’s award.”
The overall winner will be announced during an award ceremony on Wednesday September 13, at Trinity House in London. Upon winning, they will join the likes of 2022 winner Veronica Jennings, as well as win a host of top prizes. Those include £3,000, a state-of-the-art toolkit, and a unique study tour in Dornbirn, Austria – sponsored by ZG Lighting.
