Metrel to deliver session on electrical safety at Powered On Live 2023

Powered On Live 2023 has officially confirmed a second session dedicated to the subject of safety, following the announcement of a session from Electrical Safety First a few weeks ago.

With Powered On Live 2023 fast approaching, we’ve decided to take a deep dive into all the sessions that are currently confirmed for this exciting virtual event. There will be a new event teased every single day here on Electrical Review until the event officially kicks off on June 14.

Kicking off this week of teasers, we’ve got a session from Metrel UK, which will cover the all-important subject of safety. The session is called: Electrical Safety and Quality of Electrical Energetic and Industrial Installations; Ground Integrity, Grid Impedances, and Automatic Trip-out Ability.

As Metrel describes the session: auditing and guiding competent responsible personnel are crucial for successful assurance of electrical safety and quality. Engineers need to react appropriately through the period of usage. Initial and periodical inspections, maintenance, and provision of electrical safety, arc safety, selectivity, and automatic disconnection in the event of a short circuit or failure are regular parts of predictive maintenance providing long term operability in a safe manner.

During this session attendees will get tips on how to ensure they’re installing and maintaining electrical equipment safely, while also getting the most out of their equipment through periodic inspections. Metrel will have three speakers on hand to guide us, all with significant knowledge to share.

The speakers are: Janez Guzelj, Application and Technical Consulting Director, Metrel UK Ltd; Brendan Beaver, Sales Manager, Metrel UK Ltd; Daniel Siefers, Technical Support, Metrel UK Ltd.

Metrel is also an official sponsor for Powered On Live 2023, with the company helping to make this vital virtual event a reality.

You can enjoy Metrel’s session on day one of Powered On Live at 11:05 immediately after the 15-minute break. Just ensure you register to ensure you get the link – you can register for free here
