The Electrical Contractors Association has confirmed that it will offer an industry dinner at this year’s awards ceremony.
With Covid-19 cases now declining, the ECA is confident that it will be able to host the 2020/21 Industry Awards Dinner on October 22. The dinner will be held at the Hilton Bankside in London, with leading TV personalities and presenters Steph McGovern and Alan Dedicoat lined-up to host.
The ECA wants to put on a night people will remember for its first awards ceremony post-Covid, with the organisation set to have a live band and a photo booth set up.
Helen Atkinson, ECA Director of Member Services, commented, “ECA is delighted to announce that tickets are now available for the 2020/21 Industry Awards Dinner, which promises to be one of the best nights on the industry calendar.
“After a year-long hiatus, we can celebrate and recognise the achievements of our Members through a particularly difficult period for our industry.”
The winners of the ECA Industry Awards 2020/21 will be announced on the evening. The awards, which recognise the top businesses and individuals within the industry, are open to entries until the August 6, 2021.
The return of the ECA Industry Awards is a positive sign for the electrical industry, with it set to be the first post-pandemic event to recognise the hard work of those in the electrical industry. Sadly, the Electrical Review and Data Centre Review Awards were postponed from their September time slot earlier this year.
