Beckhoff introduces industrial power supply range
Beckhoff has announced a new range of 24V DC power supplies that have been specifically designed for demanding industrial applications.
The new range offers both single and three-phase input DIN rail power supply units, with output currents from 2.5A to 40A available.
What’s key about this new range of industrial power supply units is the fact that Beckhoff is promising high efficiencies of up to 96.3%, as well as low heat losses. This means that those in industry will benefit from increased machine and plant availability and reduced energy costs.
Depending on the variant type, these power supply units support “hiccup” mode as well as 120-150% extra-power delivery and active inrush current limitation. This enables the starting of heavy loads and additionally protects equipment and plant parts in case of faults.
