Cable management and identification specialist Cable Trail has introduced the Cable-Klip to solve a common industry problem.

Cable-Klip can be used to secure cables, banners and safety netting quickly, safely and securely to standard scaffold systems for use on building and construction sites. It has also been used in a unique application engineered by Cable Trail to solve a specific problem at BAE Systems for attaching LED lighting units, with 1,000 units already ordered.

Cable Trail officially launched the new Cable-Klip at LiftEx 2019, the flagship event of the Lifting Equipment Engineers’ Association that took place in Milton Keynes.

Cable-Klips have been designed to be reusable, robust and practical; they allow items to be connected securely and can be removed without the need for a knife or cutters.

MD Nigel Myers said, “We are delighted that BAE Systems appreciates the value of the Cable-Klip and we hope this order will be the first of many from the company, a long-standing client of ours. We look forward to showcasing this and other products from our cable management and identification range to new and existing customers.”

A spokesman for BAE Systems added, “The Cable-Klip innovation is a great product and enables us to position our LED lights very quickly with the added bonus of managing the cabling.”
