Langdown takes role with CPN

Stewart Langdown, a known figure in the lighting industry, will be joining cpn lighting control as business development director with effect from 4th September 2017.Langdown has an impressive pedigree and will bring over 25 years experience in lighting, many of those working for Tridonic where he developed a strong relationship with consultants, designers and end users alike. 

At Tridonic, Langdown helped to develop and launch technologies such as DSI, DALI and digital controls, becoming much sought after for his ability to advise on the legislation and regulations and as a speaker on lighting controls and related topics. As an authority on controls, Langdown was the founding chair for the LIA Controls Group and has also contributed to a number of technical papers and codes on Lighting and Lighting controls. He has a good knowledge of emergency lighting and its management, so will be a driving force in developing the Ektor emergency brand for cpn in the UK. Langdown has spent the last four years with Mackwell Electronics but couldn’t miss the opportunity to work with cpn lighting control, an industry leader in supplying and commissioning intelligent and fully addressable automated lighting control systems for the private and public sector industries. 

The zencontrol lighting control range marketed by cpn uses the most advanced cloud technology available and encompasses all of the recent and forthcoming DALI standards.  The system has a simple commissioning process and has been designed to integrate easily with other building system, can be easily adapted to any scale project, from large addressable installations to small stand-alone applications and is one of the most secure and advanced lighting control system on the market today.
