Fundamentals takes on the ultimate challenge for IET Connect
On 1 September 2017 a team of 16 walkers, predominately Fundamentals employees plus friends and colleagues from Ferranti, took on the ultimate Nation Three Peaks 24-hour challenge.
Led by Fundamentals managing director, Jon Hiscock, the team has taken on the challenge to raise money for IET Connect.
IET Connect is the Benevolent Fund of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). This wonderful charity plays an integral part in helping IET members and their immediate families in times of need; from legal advice and getting back into employment to counselling and financial assistance.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24-hours. The team will be started its challenge at the bottom of Ben Nevis at 6am on 1 September and finished it at the bottom of Snowdon 24-hours later at 6am on 2 September.
