The Electrical Industries Charity is delighted to announce it has 40 Gold Bond places for the Virgin London Marathon which takes place on Sunday 26 April 2015.

The London Marathon remains one of the biggest charity fundraising events in the UK and the Charity is urging members of the industry to take part in this iconic event and raise much needed funds to help those in our industry when they need it most.

Operations manager, Jill Nadolski said: “In 2015 the Electrical Industries Charity celebrates its 110th anniversary and we are asking the industry to take on a new challenge to ensure it is a record breaking year of fundraising. The Virgin London Marathon is a very special event and a great opportunity to get a team of four people together and lay down the gauntlet to the rest of the industry – after all there is nothing like a bit of friendly rivalry to power you over the finish line and boost your fundraising target.”

The Charity has also recently signed up to runforcharity.com and cycleforcharity.com. Both websites offer a whole host of running and cycling challenges which members of the industry, their friends and family can take part in throughout the year. So if you fancy cycling from Coast to Coast or maybe taking part in Mudnificent 7, the world’s first obstacle racing championships, then have a look at the website and sign up today.
