Bender UK is now responsible for the supply, installation and support of its electrical safety and healthcare products across the Republic of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland.

Bender UK already has a strong presence in the north, especially in the healthcare sector through supply and installation of IPS, UPS, turnkey theatre packages and verification services, however the Republic was previously serviced through Secure Power Engineering.

Ireland-based Chris Simmons is the new Sales Manager for the territory and brings with him a wealth of industry expertise and experience.  He comments: “I am looking forward to my new role along with the exciting challenges that it brings enhancing the Bender offering to existing customers and introducing our outstanding technology to new areas.”

Bender UK offers proven capability and expertise for users of critical power systems across sectors spanning healthcare, defence, data management, manufacturing, rail, power transmission, renewable energy and electric vehicles, and a range of core products and services including residual current monitoring (RCM) units and advanced on-line earth fault location, power quality management (PQM) and remote monitoring, and insulation monitoring.

Bender UK managing director Steve Mason explains: “Bender is a world leader in electrical safety and power management systems and we harness that technology creating tailored solutions which precisely meet the needs of customers who simply cannot afford their power systems to fail. We work with them to ensure maximum availability and total safety while also helping to manage power consumptions and reduce costs.

“Steve Cullen was very successful in developing the market for Bender products in Ireland through Secure Power Engineering, and Bender UK has the vision to build on what Steve achieved.  This is positive news for both our existing and new customers – providing the opportunity to take full advantage of the experience and expertise of a world leader.”
