Harbro Electrical celebrated its best year in 2012 breaking the £2mn turnover milestone, a great achievement in the current economic climate and coming through a double dip recession lead by Philip Harbord MD and Tony Featonby operations director.
Harbro has invested in Gary Hunter as their new internet sales director, Hunter comes with experience of SEO, social marketing, sales, website development and usability, after successfully selling his own company to a PLC in 2011. Hunter said: “The time was right for a new challenge and the opportunity to join Harbro was not to be missed, Harbro has all the ingredients of a company that will be successful for many years to come and the online market place is untapped and provides a massive area for growth. We have developed a new user friendly website that will focus on the customer and usability, we will be developing a mobile site to enable our customers to order on the move and have nationwide next day delivery.”
