Solar Power UK 2011, dedicated to Britain's solar industry, is proud to partner with Birmingham City Council for this year's conference and exhibition. Held at the ICC Birmingham from October 26 – 28, over 3000 attendees are expected to make their way to what is fast becoming one of the UK's most exciting hubs of solar activity.
Over 120 leading manufacturers and wholesalers of PV modules, inverters and balance of systems will exhibit at this full-to-capacity venue, offering the UK installer community the opportunity to assess the best technologies for their upcoming projects.
The accompanying Solar Power UK Conference, to be held over the same period, will offer a unique insight into the UK's expanding PV industry, offering one-off networking opportunities with key project managers from the public, social housing and private sectors.
Over three days the specially selected conference speakers will cover topics including renewable policy, market developments, technology advancements and future financing options. Real-life installations will also be showcased, with an opportunity to look at what has been achieved in the UK so far, as well as discovering what to expect as we head toward the reality that is grid parity.
Complementing the conference programme, a series of installer training workshops will run across the three days, providing an excellent opportunity for the UK's ever-increasing installer network.
Sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of electricians, roofers and other interested parties simply considering crossing over to work on solar projects, right through to experienced installers who want to hear about the latest technical requirements, certifications and installation guidelines.
Installer workshop tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis, so keep an eye on the www.solarpowerukevents.org website.
