Energy Savings at Chiseldon House
Lamps and reflectors from Megaman's decorative lamp range, including LED candles and LED GU10's, are being used for a variety of applications in Chiseldon House Hotel, a beautiful country house set in the Marlborough Downs.
Micaela Abbott, part of Megaman's technical team, worked closely with hotel proprietor John Sweeney to conduct an energy survey of the site and suggest alternative lamps for use within existing fittings. Following the results of the survey, all of the lighting has been changed to Megaman's LED Candle lamps, LED GU10's and CFL's. This has resulted in annual energy savings of £5,263.45, will achieve payback in only seven months and, in addition to this, will save 22.8 tons of co2 annually.
