A total of thirteen FG Wilson generator sets have been returned to the FG Wilson Dealer, Stuart Power, in London having helped power one of the biggest media events of 2011.

The generator sets powered the sound system for the recent royal wedding along the route from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.

The sets were positioned at Parliament Square, Horse Guards, at the entrance to St James Park, at the Buckingham Palace end of the Mall, and on the road tow opposite Buckingham Palace.

John Hegarty, area sales manager, FG Wilson commented: “We were delighted to help make this massive public and media event a success. Our generators are used for all kinds of major events, but this one was extra special.”

The company’s product ranges from 6.8 – 2,200 kVA, and includes open and enclosed generator sets, providing prime and standby power – from domestic use, right up to power modules with the ability to operate as complete power stations supplying electricity to national grids.
