Former Top Gear presenter Quentin Wilson is the latest person to sign up as a speaker for this year's NICEIC Live, taking place at Epsom Downs on 19 May.
Wilson will be discussing the electric car and its potential impact on the electrical contracting industry at NICEIC's first ever conference and exhibition.
He will be joined on the day by Sir Richard Needham, senior independent director of Dyson, who will be discussing how contractors can grow their business; Peter Moule, founder of ChocBox and participant on Dragons Den who will be talking about his experience in front of the Dragons, while NICEIC's very own Tony Cable will be discussing upcoming amendments to BS7671 and changes to PIRs.
"We have put together a diverse mix of speakers and presentations which will ensure there is something for everyone who has an interest in the electrical contracting industry," says NICEIC's head of group marketing, Mark Smith.
"We want the day to be very much a learning experience for everyone who attends as well as a chance to network with suppliers and firms who have a close relationship with the industry."
Lighting and home automation expert Niko will be headline sponsors for the day alongside product supplier Electricfix. Other exhibitors include Megger, Fluke, Ideal Industries, Brother, Milwaukee, Dehn, Phoenix Contacts, Wago, Peugeot, Clik, Mr Electric, Acksen and Castline.
Tool specialist, Irwin Tools will also be giving away a Lennox Holesaw to the first 100 delegates to visit its stand.
Tickets are available from £35 with all attendees receiving a voucher book featuring over £250 worth of discounts and special offers from leading electrical suppliers along with a free ticket to a future Epsom race meeting.
