Socomec Netys PR 1500 VA UPS has come third in the PC Professionale competition, one of the most prestigious Italian magazines specialising in IT products and applications. The latest issue of the magazine focused on electrical protection and published results of a product comparison test of 12 UPS models from the top 8 Italian vendors in the market.
The tests carried out focused on 4 criteria which assessed the UPS units against:
1. construction quality
2. autonomy
3. price
4. compactness
The Netys PR 1500 VA, out performed all others tested on the autonomy criteria test (47'03, against an average of 23'65 for the others). Thanks to this outstanding achievement, it was awarded Bronze with a commendation for its flexibility and adaptability in all networking environments.
On this PC Professionale said: "Lots of the other models can run with an external auxiliary battery, but the special thing about this Netys PR is that it can be used with the battery either alongside or above the main body and, with the use of brackets, becomes exactly the same size as a rack 2U. The excellent software and the autonomy of 47 and 87 minutes earn this model the PC Professionale Bronze."
