NICEIC Group has presented a cheque for £9,400 to electrical industry charity the Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA).
The organisation raised the sum by pledging a percentage of every building control certificate it processed over a year to the charity.
"This is just part of a much wider programme of charitable support from NICEIC Group," says Jim Speirs, Executive Chairman, NICEIC Group. "It's important that we support our industry charity as EEIBA provides support for those in the industry who have fallen upon hard times."
"We're delighted to accept the donation and the fantastic support NICEIC Group has provided EEIBA," says Timothy Lambert, Chief Executive EEIBA. "We are the only charity that exists to provide help to the needy and distressed who work or have worked, in the electrical and electronics industries and we rely on donations such as this to continue our important work."
