Rafiki expands sales force

As part of its expansion programme, fire detection system specialists Rafiki Protection Ltd has appointed Steve Dilloway as regional sales manager for South East England.

Steve has extensive commercial sales experience, particularly in the Fire and Safety industry. He has worked in both installation and supply roles, providing Steve with a balanced view on the issues surrounding the provision of fire equipment.

Joining Rafiki from Gardiner Security Group’s fire division, Steve was not only responsible for sales in East Anglia, Essex and East London, but also the development of a sales training programme for staff and customers alike. He initiated training in risk assessment and emergency lighting in order to raise understanding of the DDA and RRO amongst installers.
Steve is enthusiastic about his new role at Rafiki, commenting, “Rafiki is a prominent name in the fire and security sector and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work here. I have built up a strong network base in the south east of specifiers, architects, property developers and local authorities, and I look forward to using these networks to further advance Rafiki sales in this region.”

Managing director Bill Amlani is equally pleased with the company’s new team member. He said, “Steve has an excellent background in sales and in the fire and security sector. With Steve’s assistance we will be able to provide a better service to our customers in the south east, and I am sure he has a very fruitful career ahead of him at Rafiki”.
