Organisations announce charity event for construction industry
Construction Industry Solutions and humanitarian organisation Care International are pleased to announce the fourth Coins Three Peaks Challenge, which takes place the weekend of 6-7 May 2006.
This prestigious yet tough event is designed exclusively for corporate teams within the construction industry. They are challenged with not only climbing the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours, but also raising at least £5,000 for Care International’s overseas project work. All participants are supported every step of the way, with a full fitness and training plan, together with tips and advice on fundraising, in the run-up to the event.
The event weekend itself begins in Scotland, with the demanding 1,334m ascent of Ben Nevis, near Fort William, and continues in the Lake District with the ascent of Scafell Pike (978m).
