Highfield School in Letchworth boasts an impressive state-of-the-art facility providing a learning environment for over 1000 students. Mackwell has launched an update on its successful XYLUX LR4 luminaire. 

The updated luminaire offers an IP65 rating whilst not compromising on the impressive photometry and performance in both anti-panic and escape route applications that is expected of the LR4 luminaire. The luminaire can be optimised for each application using tailored optics in the form of two lenses.

The DEHNcord is a flexible range of type 2 surge arresters that can be easily integrated into flush-mounted systems, cable ducts, flush-type boxes and end use terminal equipment. They are ideally suited to the protection of LED lights, control panels, fire alarm panels etc.

The DEHNpatch product series for RJ45 connections has been supplemented by another arrester. DEHNpatch Class D is a surge arrester for protecting Ethernet-based interfaces in structured cabling systems according to class D up to 100 MHz. This arrester is ideally suited for use in telecom and data networks such as PV systems, wind turbines, IP camera systems and Ethernet / PoE applications up to 1 Gbit/s.
