JTL launches #lovemyJTLtoolkit competition for apprentices

JTL has launched its #lovemyJTLtoolkit competition, giving one electrical and one MES learner the opportunity to win a prize worth over £1,000.

Once JTL apprentices have completed their first three months of training, they are eligible to claim their free toolkits. Once redeemed, JTL is encouraging the apprentices to make a 30 second video explaining why they love their new tool kit and why they deserve to win the competition. To enter, they simply need to share their video on either Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #lovemyJTLtoolkit and tag JTL.

The prize for each winner includes a day at the Bear Grylls Adventure Centre (Birmingham) for two people as part the ‘Big 5 Package’, which includes a dive with black tip sharks and over 50 other species in a tropical tank, as well as an indoor sky dive.

The two winners will also receive overnight accommodation with breakfast for two, £500 worth of test equipment or power tools from Edmundson Electrical (for the electrical winner) and £500 worth of tools from Monument Tools (for the MES winner) plus an Amazon Fire Tablet for each winner.

Judi Wheeler, national delivery director at JTL, said, “JTL is the only training provider that offers free toolkits to apprentices. The kits include a range of high quality, professional tools specially chosen by JTL to help the apprenticeship get off to the best possible start.

“This competition provides yet another perk of claiming the toolkit, in a fun and engaging way. The more innovative and entertaining the video the better, but please keep it clean! The two winning learners will be announced in July 2020 – good luck.”
