Following the success of its 2013 event, Omicron is set to host a second DMPT from 12-14 May 2015, centered on the theme Enhancing Transformer Reliability. The event will be held at the stunning Cheshire venue, Crewe Hall, which combines a historic setting with state of the art conference facili-ties, all within easy reach of Manchester International Airport.
The schedule will begin on the 12 May with a relaxed drinks reception and dinner to welcome guests and allow for an informal exchange of ideas. Papers will be presented by Omicron specialists which include Dr. Michael Kru-ger, and also speakers from leading companies such as ABB, Siemens, E.ON, Seabank Power Lim-ited and ESB International. On the second day, delegates can choose from four practical workshops: Transformer Diagnostics Testing, Partial Discharge Testing, On-site Non-intrusive Circuit Breaker Testing and Instrument Transformer Testing. Each demonstration station will be manned by Omicron Academy Trainers, enabling participants to explore theory, tips and tricks and get valuable hands-on experience.
