Aermec UK, manufacturer of air handers, chillers and heat pumps, is supporting the building services industry by becoming a CIBSE patron.

The company has long been a supporter of the work the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering (CIBSE) does for the industry. By forging closer links as a patron, Aermec is looking forward to exchanging information, collaborating on multi-disciplinary projects with CIBSE partners whilst supporting future generations of engineers to build a better HVAC future.

“Aermec is delighted to become a CIBSE patron. This provides a great opportunity to support the building services industry through collaborating with CIBSE and other organisations which will further knowledge and skills,” commented Graham Etherington, Aermec UK’s sales specification manager.

Aermec seeks to minimise its environmental impact and those values are reflected in its approach to business. Collaborative working practices are embraced across the business. Becoming a CIBSE patron echoes the company’s own philosophies; Aermec works closely with M&E consultants, mechanical engineers, building services engineers and its end-users.

The company invests in research and development and has close links with Padua University, close to its manufacturing base. Aermec is actively involved in harnessing new technologies from HVAC compressors, heat exchangers and new motors to working with the latest advances in low GWP refrigerants and its extensive testing facilities ensure that products are rigorously tested and can meet even the most exacting criteria.

“We are excited about the many ways Aermec can contribute, exchange information and learn from fellow patrons and CIBSE members,” added Etherington.
