Formerly Borri, Power Control (PCL) has received a glowing review for its electrical expertise and high performance UPS solutions from one of the world’s largest travel sites.
Due to continued business expansion, the global travel review company recently replaced its 60kVA, end of life unit with the purchase of two Borri B8000FXS 20kVA UPS units, which are now handling added capacity the company’s newest facility.
Working in close collaboration with a specialist contractor, a series of surveys were carried out to determine the load on the old UPS, which found that it had been operating at much less than its capacity. From this, PCL presented a resilient N+1 solution to fit within the area of the existing system and integrate with the existing electrical infrastructure.
Chosen not only for its redundant solution but also its ability to deliver a complete turnkey package, PCL designed the installation to enable the new system to be deployed without having to lose power to the connected load.
In addition to positioning and installing the UPS units, PCL also removed the old equipment and batteries.
Now configured in a fully resilient N+1 redundancy, the Borri B8000FXS UPS systems are supporting critical IT equipment. Selected for their renowned resilience these high performance, transformer free UPS solutions are some of the most efficient on the market.
Designed with power protection as their primary function, UPS systems from PCL also come with a three year warranty. Furthermore the travel site is also benefiting from one year’s complimentary maintenance from PCL.
